The Gore Trails offer year round access for all age groups and skill levels.  Established in 1995, this trail system has since expanded to 20kms of single track, gravel road and short-track trails.  Regardless of your skill level or age group, The Gore Trails offers an adventure for everyone.

The Trailforks map below shows the trails system with all trails on it.

Upper Ravine

The fast and flowy downhill trail is getting an extension added to the top. When complete you'll be able to hop on this earlier and send it all the way to the bottom with an additional 200 metres of sweet riding!

AC/DC Climb

The climb we've all become used to is also getting an extension, so no more crossing the Ravine trail or having to venture onto the steaming hot roadway to climb up. You'll enjoy a leisurely float up to the top on a very easy and gradual climb. The bottom is going to be modified so we'll be able to label this as a green trail.

Metamorphosis

With this new trail, you'll be able to fly from the field down into the woods for a short loop of rollers and tabletops leading back to the field. It'll be built for the beginners in mind. We look forward to how this is going to be crafted and integrated into the parking area!

The Hemlock Crossing

Hundreds of hours of hard working volunteers, combined with Hemlock lumber sourced right from the farm, and milled on site, we were able to build the biggest bridge we've seen on a mountain bike trail in Nova Scotia.

This location always struggled with one bridge after another being damaged by rot, high water, or falling trees. The Hemlock Crossing was built to a new standard!

Rules

  • Drugs and alcohol are prohibited.  Smoking is only permitted at the trail entrance in a designated smoking area.

  • No motorized vehicles are allowed on any of the single track trails unless for maintenance purposes. E-Bikes are permitted.

  • Dogs are allowed off leash as long as they stay close to their owner and always supervised and well behaved. We have many porcupines among the property so be cautions with your dogs, as we are not liable.

  • Any dog droppings around the event grounds or on the trails must be removed so no one steps or rides in them.

  • Please note that staff is rarely available during the week.  However, security or staff members may be present at any time scanning the trail system to ensure policies are being followed. Failure to follow rules may result in being banned from The Gore Trails.

  • Use of all the trails and facilities is at your own risk.
